Brückes 58 GbR is a civil law company. We have inherited the property from our parents and are now continuing it in a modified form.

The Brückes 58 estate was purchased 1932 by our grandfather. He ran a gardening company here, which was later continued by our parents.
The house was built in 1960 as a common house for our grandparents, our parents and two sisters of our father. Most of the work on the house as well as on the greenhouses of the nursery were done in-house. The greenhouses have now been shortened and are used for private purposes. The open space was used for the extension of a terrace and for the creation of a garden. Part of the open space to the street is to be used to create a separate courtyard access. Another part of the horticultural area and the previous entrance to the yard now belong to Rainer Otto, who has built another house here and thus lives next door with his wife.

With a few construction measures, we renovated the house and brought it into its current state. The old heating system, which was oversized for the house alone, was replaced by a new, modern gas condensing heating system with solar thermal support. The bathrooms and kitchens are now supplied with hot water centrally. The formerly open top floor was given its own apartment door and thus became a new, self-contained unit, so that it can be used as a holiday apartment. Remaining single-glazed windows were replaced by new triple-glazed windows and further insulation measures in the roof and basement area ensure an overall optimized heating situation.
